PDA Game
 |
A PDA game is a video game configured for a PDA. It is a descendant of the desktop games found in such operating systems as Windows. A PDA game usually has to take into account the PDAs processor speed and screen size.
Digital card games are very common type of PDA game. Solitaire is a perennial favorite on a PC operating system, and this carries over to the PDA easily. Users have the option of selecting at least three forms of Solitaire, with variant rules. The increasing prevalence of Wi-Fi technology also allows users of PDAs with the same version of a program to engage in online multiplayer PDA games, such as Hearts, Gin Rummy, and Poker.
The Windows game Minesweeper is another common PDA game that is usually included with the operating system. Other PDA games are based on early arcade games, such as Arkanoid, Space Invaders and Missile Command. |
PDA games that enforce learning are also common. One of the best examples of this type of PDA game is Giraffe, which has learners write letters in the PDA shorthand within a specified time limit. More cerebral games are also available, such as Trivial Pursuit. Most current PDA games may get updates through the Internet.
