PDA Accessory
 |
Base PDAs are useful in and of themselves, but many people get at least one PDA accessory. A PDA accessory can be either hardware or software, and can customize your PDA to your preference.
The PDA accessory that is the most common is the stylus. A stylus is usually a plastic tool that can interacts with the touch screen menus most PDAs have. Like any PDA accessory, styluses have many different styles. Metal styluses are common, as are pen-sized styluses that usually come in the same body as a ball-point pen.
Another common PDA accessory is the PDA case. These cases come in a multitude of styles, depending on the user's preference. A user who likes a stylish PDA accessory will probably be attracted to a leather PDA case, while users who expect to put more wear and tear on their PDAs will choose a PDA case made of hard plastic or metal. Most PDA cases have room for another PDA accessory, a memory chip which can store more of a PDA's data or programs. |
One of the final physical examples of a PDA accessory is the connector to the desktop or laptop. While a USB cable is commonly used, most users prefer a PDA accessory such as a docking station, which automatically connects a PDA with a computer and synchronizes the two.
